Sportsbet.io becomes main sponsor of Watford FC
Cryptocurrency betting operator agrees three-year deal with FA cup finalists

Coingaming Group betting operator Sportsbet.io has struck a deal to become the main club partner and shirt sponsor of Watford FC.
Under the terms of the deal, the Sportsbet.io logo will appear on Watford’s home and away kits for the next three years together with the training kit for both men’s and ladies’ teams.
In addition, Sportsbet.io branding will also feature prominently at Watford’s Vicarage Road stadium in time for the start of the new premier league season.
The London club was sponsored by MoPlay last season.
To commemorate the signing of the partnership, Sportsbet.io has released a promotional video online entitled ‘Know No Borders’, which features cartoon versions of several Watford first-team players.

Sportsbet.io head of sportsbook marketing Justin Le Brocque said Sportsbet.io shared many qualities in common with Watford and that the operator would do “everything it could” to support Watford over the next three years.
“Like Watford, Sportsbet.io knows no borders in its efforts to bring fun, fast and fair entertainment and excellence to a truly global audience. We are both looking to disrupt more established competitors and need to be creative in the way we approach this challenge,” Le Brocque added.
Earlier this month Sportsbet.io announced the appointment of former Brazilian footballer Dennilson as its new brand ambassador, as part of a major step up in the firm’s marketing activity.
Elsewhere, Premier League new boys Aston Villa have confirmed their first ever sleeve sponsorship deal with Asian betting and gaming firm B88.
The deal, which runs until the end of the 2019-20 Premier League season is the clubs second in the space of two weeks, following the signing of a shirt sponsorship deal with fellow betting and gaming firm W88 earlier this month.
Several gambling firms have signed sponsor and partnership deals with Premier League teams including Betway, ManbetX, Lovebet and most recently BetConstruct’s VBET brand, which concluded a betting partnership with Europa League stalwarts Arsenal earlier this week.
