Spreadex and Sunderland sign three-year sponsorship deal
Financial trading and sports betting firm becomes fifth betting sponsor of the Black Cats

Spreadex has been announced as the new principal partner of recently promoted Sunderland AFC.
The three-year multi-faceted deal will see the financial trading and sports betting firm replace money-saving firm Great Annual Savings as the Championship club’s front-of-shirt sponsor both home and away.
The St Albans-based firm will additionally benefit from LED advertising at the Stadium of Light, a presence across Sunderland’s digital platforms, as well as working alongside the club’s community initiatives.
Spreadex becomes Sunderland’s fifth betting sponsor, following BoyleSports, Tombola, Dafabet and Betdaq.
Speaking on the deal, CEO of Spreadex David MacKenzie, said: “We are overjoyed to be partnering with Sunderland AFC at such an exciting time for the club after their promotion back to the Championship.
“At Spreadex, we have also seen strong recent results as we continue to grow as a company and we look forward to working closely with SAFC – and their fans and community partners – during the long-term deal,” he added.
Spreadex has pledged to donate £100 to Sunderland’s designated charity for every home goal scored this season.
The Black Cats were promoted following a 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers in the League One playoff final and topped the division’s attendance chart with a weekly home average of almost 31,000.
