Stake.com becomes new front-of-shirt sponsor of Everton
Crypto-first operator puts pen to paper on record sponsorship deal with Premier League side

Stake.com has agreed a front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with Premier League side Everton, one which the club say is a “record deal”.
The deal represents the highest value front-of-shirt deal in the Merseyside club’s 144 history and will come into effect on 1 July.
As main partners of five-time FA Cup winners, Stake.com will benefit from not only front-of-shirt sponsorship for both the men’s and women’s teams but will also feature on screens and backdrops at both Goodison Park and the club’s training ground, Finch Farm.
The firm will also benefit from access to exclusive content from Everton’s digital platforms.
Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale, chief executive at Everton, said: “Stake.com is an ambitious organisation with impressive growth plans and we’re all very excited to enter into a partnership with them at this stage in their journey.
“I am pleased to say that we have already been working together with Stake.com on some exciting activities and content for our local and international supporters and we look forward to sharing more detail on these plans soon.”
The club formerly sported Kenyan brand Sportpesa as its front-of-shirt sponsor in a reported £7m-a-year deal however cut the deal short, after two years of a five year deal, stating that “in an ideal world” it would “prefer a different type of sponsor”.
Everton signed a deal in December with i8.bet, which made the firm its betting partner in Asia.
Stake.com has established a strong sponsorship portfolio over the five years since its formation and this new deal compliments the shirt sponsorship deal it had with Watford this season in the Premier League as well as rapid expansion in Latam and Asia, signing deals with rapper Drake, UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Jose Aldo, as well as a recent collaboration Sergio Aguero.
