Stats Perform nets global badminton streaming and data deal
Data giant seals five-year agreement to bring live streams to global sportsbook partners

Stats Perform has put pen to paper on a new exclusive streaming and data partnership with the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Under the remit of the agreement, the data giant will become the exclusive distributor of live streams and real-time data to licensed sports betting operators across the globe.
The five-year deal will commence in January 2022 and will see 100% coverage of all players on all courts at several top-level badminton tournaments.
Action from the likes of the BWF World Championships, World Mixed Team Championships and all four levels of the BWF World Tour will be made available to operators.
The agreement will see live video streams of BWF tournaments increase by more than 70% to nearly 7,500 matches per year.
Alongside the livestreaming services, Stats Perform will distribute news, video content, live scores and data to global media organisations using its sports content service, Pressbox.
Alex Rice, Stats Perform, chief rights officer, said: “Elite badminton has a huge global following with lots of scope for growth and we’re delighted that the BWF has chosen Stats Perform’s vision to help them realise its potential.
“It’s a privilege to be partnering with the BWF and we’re already seeing a great response from our customers,” he added.
