
Stoiximan launches Betano brand in Portugal
Greek operator is now active in six European countries after going live in the Portuguese egaming market


Greek gambling operator Stoiximan has entered the Portuguese gaming market following the launch of its Betano brand in the country.
Betano is now operational in four European markets – Portugal, Germany, Austria and Romania – while the operator utilises its Stoiximan brand in Greece and Cyprus.
Ten employees will keep an eye on the www.betano.pt business from a new office in Lisbon, including Betano’s country manager for Portugal, Ricardo Branquinho.
Branquinho said the launch of the Betano brand will bring innovative new sports betting features to the Portuguese market like Μissions and Bet Mentor.
Stoiximan & Betano CEO George Daskalakis said: “We are excited to enter Portugal and we are looking forward to providing to our customers a top-class localised experience.

Stoiximan developed the “world’s first” mixed-reality sportsbook in 2018.
