STS adds MMA deal to sponsorship portfolio
Polish operator agrees a one-year deal with the KSW Federation to sponsor five fights in 2018

The latest in a flurry of STS sponsorship deals has seen the Polish bookmaker partner with the KSW Federation, a mixed martial arts (MMA) competition and Poland’s equivalent of UFC.
The contract was signed for one year and the operator will sponsor at least five bouts in 2018 as it moves into MMA combat sponsorship for the first time.
The KSW Federation is the largest MMA organisation in Europe and one of the largest in the world, behind UFC where Conor McGregor started out before partnering with Betsafe ahead of his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.
STS supports various disciplines of Polish sport and has really ramped up its marketing spend in recent weeks after penning deals with Polish Ekstraklasa club Górnik Zabrze and the country’s indoor Futsal league.
STS is also the official bookmaker of the Polish national football, volleyball and handball teams, as well as the Polish Esport League after the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) was held in Katowice in February.
“We cooperate with many teams and our activities are always focused on the fans,” said STS CEO Mateusz Jurosek.
“But the contract with KSW sees STS move into a popular individual discipline,” he added.
