Superbet hires industry newcomer for group financial controller role
Julia Hedley joins the Romania-headquartered firm to help address financial needs as it continues to grow rapidly

Superbet Group has hired industry newcomer Julia Hedley as its new group financial controller.
Hedley boasts a wealth of financial experience in her career and is taking her first steps into the igaming industry with Superbet.
Hedley joins the firm from the international trade and development company Intertek, where she has been the group financial reporting director since April 2021.
She also spent almost two decades at the business consultancy firm Deloitte, where she held the roles of senior manager of energy & resources and director of equity capital markets.
Speaking exclusively to EGR, Sean Wilkins, CFO at Superbet Group, said: “We are very pleased to have Julia Hedley join Superbet Group. In her new role as group financial controller, Julia will help us consolidate a more robust finance function, addressing the needs of a company like ours which is experiencing a period of prolonged growth.”
Elsewhere, Superbet has expanded its relationship with data firm Genius Sports to produce bespoke customer engagement tools.
The relationship began in 2019 when the pair inked an official data, trading and streaming partnership. The expansion to this will see the rollout of the new tools in Superbet’s home country of Romania before expanding into the firm’s other operational markets.
