Tabcorp strikes “Australian first” with new omni-channel feature
Check & Collect mobile betting feature allows customers to track in-shop betting tickets on the move

Tabcorp has ramped up its omni-channel strategy with the launch of a new mobile feature enabling customers to keep track of their in-shop bets for the first time.
Check & Collect gives customers the opportunity to scan the barcode on their bet slips for both fixed-odds and Tote wagers using the TAB iOS and Android apps.
TAB account holders also have the option to deposit their winnings directly into their online account. However the feature is not available for cashed-out tickets or for wagers placed on-course.
Tabcorp claims Check & Collect is an “Australian first” and forms part of the Melbourne-based firm’s strategy to utilise its land-based presence of more than 4,000 venues nationwide.
“[Check & Collect is] an experience that our competitors simply can’t offer and allows punters to access their winnings much faster,” Craig Nugent, COO of Tabcorp’s wagering & media arm, said.
“Now punters no longer have to worry about having a wallet full of bet tickets and can get access to their winning via the app.
“After how well punters have embraced the Quaddie Cash Out we believe this product will be equally popular with several other exciting products in store for 2017.”
Tabcorp launched its Quaddie Cash Out product in October in time for the Spring Racing Carnival and enables punters to cash out after the first, second or third leg.
