Tailorbet awarded IoM network licence
Peer-to-peer betting provider secures approval for B2B and B2C activity.

Peer-to-peer betting provider Tailorbet has become the latest business to be awarded a network licence by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC).
The Douglas-based company’s licence covers B2B and B2C activity and gives Tailorbet the green light to allow players to create customised bets against opponents.
Tailorbet CEO David McKenzie referenced the island’s “robust” licensing system adding “We wouldn’t want to base such an exciting operation anywhere else”.
“Tailorbet’s offering represents a genuine innovation in the online sports betting landscape, providing the means for players to create highly customised bets against players from a variety of sportsbooks and networks, bringing casual users together with regular players and appealing to both,” added McKenzie.
Ray Davies, head of business development for egaming at the Isle of Man Department of Economic Development, described Tailorbet as “Exactly the sort of innovative operator we seek to attract, and the latest chapter of an impressive period of growth for the sector.”
Fellow Isle of Man company BuddyBet has also secured a licence in the jurisdiction.
