Team FA launches new Acca Tracker Android app
Sports betting affiliate teams up with Degree 53 to launch new app with emphasis on personalisation
Sports betting affiliate Team FA, the owners of the footyaccumulators.com site, have collaborated with mobile development firm Degree 53 to launch a new version of its Acca Tracker app for Android.
The app has been completely redesigned with an emphasis on personalisation, allowing customers to select their favourite football teams and receive updates on accumulator bets via push notification capabilities.
Match statistics, including live goal scorer updates, bookings and in-play betting markets and odds have also been added to the app which has been re-launched for the 2014-15 football season.
The new app has also been released with a new user interface which Team FA claims to be significantly faster to use than its predecessor after the affiliate responded to customer feedback received for the previous edition.
Jamie Knowlson, CEO at FA Partnership, said the development aimed to follow on from the success of its Horse Tracker app, which remains one of the most popular sportsbook affiliate apps in Appleâs App Store.
âThey [Team FA] know exactly what they want but also allow us to advise them on what we think would add maximum value for their users, coupled with great user experience,â Andy Daniels, MD at Degree 53, said.
The first Acca Tracker mobile app was released in June last year but since then a number of sports betting operators have looked to replicate its capabilities.
Most recently Ladbrokes launched its own accumulator tracker function for its flagship mobile sportsbook app as part of a wider product push for the new football season.
