
Tipico marks Bundesliga restart with Bayern-branded media campaign
German operator marks end of the winter break with Bayern Munich-based TV marketing campaign


Tipico has returned to German TV screen with the launch of a new brand campaign ahead of the second half of the German Bundesliga season.
The one-minute spot features members of the current Bayern Munich team, as well as brand ambassador Oliver Khan, and focuses on the underground culture of fans.
The campaign was developed in partnership with Hamburg creative agency Jung von Matt and features a voice-over from by hip hop artist Summer Cem, and the music of producer Joshimixu.

“As partner of the football, you also have to be part of the fan culture,” said Alexander Norvilas, creative director at JvM.
“That’s only possible if you stay enthusiastic, dare to offend and raise the bar every season.”
The video spot will be supported by and online and print campaign designed Berlin photographer Murat Aslan.
The ads will also feature the logos of the German Bundesliga and the Second German Bundesliga after Tipico signed a commercial agreement with the leagues last week.
“We see ourselves as a thrilling football brand and are part of the game,” said Tipico chief commercial officer Marlon van der Goes.
