UK peer-to-peer video game wagering platform secures US JV partner
Gamer Wager links up with Nevada’s SCCG Management in bid to penetrate US market

Peer-to-peer (P2P) video gaming wagering platform Gamer Wager has partnered with SCCG Management to launch a US-facing joint venture.
The Manchester-based platform has linked up with the Las Vegas-based consultancy firm to tackle the growing US market with its P2P esports betting product.
Gamer Wager developed the first P2P video game wagering platform to be approved by the UK Gambling Commission and has successfully launched on both the Apple and Android app stores.
The platform allows gamers to connect and wager with one another across a variety of esports titles.
Mark Goddard, Gamer Wager CEO, said the group was aiming to reach “millions” of gamers with its betting product.
Goddard said: “We are pleased to be partnering with SCCG Management on this incredible venture. We have been developing and refining our wagering platform in the UK for the past five years.
“Now is the time to take our software to the ever-expanding US esports market. We aim to connect millions of passionate gamers, in regulated markets, from around the world,” he added.
Stephen Crystal, SCCG Management founder, commented: “We have been interested in this platform and its capabilities for years, with our mutual teams, waiting for the right moment to bring it to the massive and growing US regulated igaming and casino industry.
“Today is finally the day, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
