Unibet unveils responsible gambling campaign in Belgium
Kindred Group is encouraging players to determine maximum deposit amounts and set up time-out limits

Kindred Group’s Unibet brand has launched a responsible gambling awareness campaign in the Belgian gaming market.
The campaign, which launched across all channels in late October, highlights the operator’s portfolio of tools that are available to help customers remain in control of their gambling.
According to Kindred, international research shows that awareness is a key factor in preventing pathological gambling behaviour, and the new campaign puts the spotlight on three control tools.
Belgian players are encouraged to determine their own maximum deposit amounts, set up a ‘reality check’ alarm that goes off after half an hour of playing and introduce time-outs on certain games.
Kindred Group CEO Henrik Tjärnström said: “We want our players to feel safe and stay in control on our platform.
“For Kindred, sustainability is about making use of important research and integrating key findings onto our sites and products.
“That is an important part in creating the best experience and a sustainable relationship with our players,” he added.
Kindred won a VAT tax case absolving operators of paying 21% VAT in the Belgian Constitutional Court in March.
