Vereeni and RB Capital acquire “significant stake” in Green Jade Games
Six-figure investment expected to “supercharge” the games studio’s growth

Venture capital fund Vereeni Investments and brokerage firm RB Capital have acquired a “significant stake” in Green Jade Games for an undisclosed sum.
The partners said the six-figure investment would help “supercharge” Green Jade’s growth, thanks to additional capital and access to Vereeni’s network of gaming companies.
The Green Jade studio was originally established by MRG and launched its first game in December 2018.
Former Mr Green CEO Jesper Karrbrink is currently the creative director at the firm, with Benedict McDonagh the managing director.
McDonagh said: “As a relatively young company in this space, the only way we can succeed is by creating the type of game-changing casino content that operators simply cannot do without.
“We have accepted this investment from Vereeni and RB because it not only allows us to scale our growth, but also provides access to an unparalleled network of iGaming expertise. We are absolutely delighted to be opening the next chapter in the Green Jade story alongside our investors.”
Vereeni co-founder Timothy John Heath said the fund was excited to invest in a “high growth, high potential” company.
“Green Jade is led by experienced management that has the confidence, ability and creativity to push boundaries in our industry,” Heath said.
“We can already see from Green Jade’s content that this is a special team, and we are certain that the extra support we can provide will help them take things to the next level.”
Green Jade is licensed in the UK and Malta and has existing deals with several operators including Kindred Group.
Julian Buhagiar, the co-founder of RB Capital, said Green Jade had built some of the best engaging IP in the industry despite its relative youth.
“It’s a pleasure to be involved in such a unique business, and we are very confident about the long-term prospects for Green Jade,” Buhagiar added.
