William Hill adds ITV7 predictor game to racing sponsorship deal
Operator to sponsor new free-to-play horseracing competition that enables customers to win up to £100,000

William Hill has extended its horseracing partnership with ITV to include sponsorship of the broadcasting company’s new ITV7 predictor game and ITV Racing app.
The ITV7 competition was launched ahead of Saturday’s meet at Ascot and enables customers to win up to £100,000 for correctly selecting the winning horses in each of a day’s seven races.
Existing William Hill customers can use their account to log-in to the weekly competition, while those without an account with the firm can enter for free online or via the new ITV Racing app.
The operator is already the headline sponsor of ITV’s new racing coverage having secured an initial one-year deal in December to sponsor its live broadcasts of almost 100 days of racing across its main ITV and ITV4 channels.
The competition is similar to Sporting Life’s Pick 7 app, which was developed in partnership with Sky Betting & Gaming, and enables customers to win a maximum of £100,000 for correctly predicting seven winners.
William Hill’s chief customer officer, Cem Miralay, said: “ITV7 is sure to evoke fond memories in nostalgic racing fans – and we’re sure it will become a modern-day classic in its new digital format.
“The new deal is a great addition to our sponsorship of ITV’s on-air racing coverage and further demonstrates William Hill’s commitment to the growth of horseracing.”
William Hill branding also appears across the ITV7 game’s homepage, in addition to a widget that offers customers ‘Today’s Best Bets’.
As part of its deal with the broadcaster, the operator will also sponsor its new ITV Racing mobile app, which features video clips of all of ITV’s races, latest news and up-to-date racecards and results.
