William Hill appoints ex-LeoVegas exec to head of affiliates role
888-owned operator promotes former LeoVegas senior affiliate acquisition manager Matthew Curmi to fill new position

William Hill has appointed former Betfair and LeoVegas exec Matthew Curmi to take up the role of head of affiliates at the bookmaker.
Curmi most recently served as Hills’ senior affiliate manager since April 2022 after joining from LeoVegas after just over five years with the Stockholm-listed firm across a number of different positions.
He joined the operator in May 2017 as a junior accountant before being made senior affiliate acquisition manager in February 2018.
His next role with LeoVegas was as an affiliate team leader before finally being made country manager for Ireland and New Zealand.
Curmi’s responsibilities at the operator included assisting with the onboarding process for new affiliates and carrying out all necessary UK compliance checks.
Before his time at LeoVegas, Curmi spent just under three years with Betfair as a junior accountant between July 2014 and April 2017.
In his new role, Curmi will be responsible for managing Hills’ affiliate programme for its international division and team. He will continue to be based in Malta.
