William Hill unveils Flat season follow-up to High Five offer
Operator’s 2 Clear promotion offers a 15% free bet bonus on horses winning by two lengths or more
William Hill has launched its latest horseracing promotion to coincide with the new Flat season, offering punters a 15% free bet bonus on a winning bet if the horse wins by two lengths or more.
The operator’s 2 Clear offer, which launched yesterday across all channels for the meet at Windsor, mirrors its National Hunt High Five concession which offered a 25% bonus on winning bets if the horse won by five lengths or more.
William Hill spokesperson, Rupert Adams, said: “It is a simple concept that if you back a horse that wins by two lengths or more you receive a 15% free bet bonus.
“Our last offering ‘High 5’ was a successful campaign and we have decided to succeed it with 2 Clear, the ideas behind it is based on the stat that 30% of Flat races last season were won by two or more lengths.”
The 2 Clear promotion, which has bonus pay outs capped at £100, is another bold bookie move to increase racing revenues.
Last year, Ladbrokes, Betway and bet365 launched Best Odds Guaranteed Plus, setting off industry alarm that it would further stretch racing margins, although bet365 later dropped the promotion.
