William Hill launches Passoker ahead of Euro 2012
In-play betting product goes live after original deal was agreed in January this year.

William Hill has announced the launch of Passoker’s in-play betting product ahead of this summer’s European football championships, which will kick off in Poland this afternoon.
The deal was originally signed in January, at which point the launch was announced as taking place a month later, and will see the game, which features commentary from Martin Tyler and Sid Waddell, go live on Williamhill.com.
Commenting on the launch, Passoker CEO Stuart Carr (pictured) said he was “incredibly excited,” adding that “this is a real endorsement of the game and we look forward to developing further Passoker products with William Hill.”
The game allocates players a card with a randomly-selected possible outcome ahead of a sporting event or television show. Each player then places a stake on their outcome, with the correct prediction winning the prize pool.
William Hill Online COO Jim Mullen commented: “With a summer packed full of sport just about to start, this is the perfect time for us to launch Passoker. It will allow us to offer our players a whole new, fun and exciting way to bet in-play.”
The Hills agreement is one of the latest to be signed by Passoker, after agreeing to deals to provide the product JenningsBet in January, and BetVictor in November last year. These followed a deal with OpenBet, which will see the game offered to all of the sportsbook supplier’s customers.
