William Hill's head of poker Shaham departs
Roy Shaham leaves the company after three years while the operator's head of casino also switches roles

William Hill Online’s head of poker Roy Shaham has left the UK operator as part of a number of changes at the Israel-based division of the firm, eGaming Review can reveal.
The departure of Shaham comes as William Hill’s head of casino Alon Arad has also changed positions within the company to focus on a new role encompassing special projects.
Both Shaham and Arad have been replaced by head of business planning and mobile group Meir Deutsche who took up the role of head of casino and poker on an interim basis in December.
A spokesperson for William Hill confirmed the changes to eGR this morning but was unable to comment as to whether Deutsche’s combined role will become permanent.
Shaham originally joined the operator in 2010, after previously working as head of operations and projects at Tel Aviv-based website developer CoolVision. He has now started a new role as CEO of web analytics company Stox.
The departure of Shaham comes after a difficult period for the company’s online poker business after it posted an 11% year-on-year fall in net revenues in Q3 2013 following a 14% for the vertical during the first half of the year.
