Win2day launches in Belgium with Prima
Microgaming-powered software provider to launch dot.be casino for Austrian company.

Belgian egaming licensee Win2day, part of the Casinos Austria group, has chosen Microgaming-powered Prima Networks for its launch into the regulated dot.be market.
It will initially launch a casino offering, with Prima pledging to roll out “Belgium’s first officially licensed Bingo room” later in the year.
The move marks the software provider’s second foray into a regulated European market in recent months, following its launch of a dot.es network containing the Spanish-facing poker offerings of Ladbrokes, Cirsa, Betway, Interwetten and Stan James.
“Loraine Schoevers, Director of Prima Networks Spain, said: “This deal is an exciting move for us as it is our first step into the Belgian market and it reaffirms Prima Networks as a leading business in regulated markets.”
Win2day.be co-CEO Emmerich Hager said of the deal: “To be the first operator to provide the market-leading content provided by Prima Networks…to the Belgian market is a great move for our company.”
One of several B+ licensees permitted to offer real-money gambling games in Belgium, Win2day is the second operator this week to announce plans to go live with an online casino offering in the jurisdiction.
Yesterday, as part of its second-quarter interim financial report, sports betting licensee Unibet announced a strategic partnership agreement with Rank Group which gives it the land-based ties required to proceed with a Belgian-facing casino and poker offering.
In June, fellow licensee Pascual Games launched a dot.be casino of its own under the 36win.be brand, realising a year-old platform agreement with ComTrade, while in April WMS gaming signed a deal aimed at providing another Belgian licensee – Partouche – with an online casino offering in the country.
