Winamax seals Perform live streaming deal
French operator to gain access to more than 18,000 live events per year via the supplier's Watch&Bet service

France-based operator Winamax has signed a deal with Perform Group to launch the sports content supplier’s Watch&Bet live streaming service, it was announced today.
The agreement will see Winamax obtain access to the London-headquartered firm’s video and consumer-facing data, including more than 18,000 live events per year in a bid to improve player acquisition and retention.
“We’re delighted that Winamax has chosen to take our live video streams via our Watch&Bet product,”Andrew Ashenden, EVP betting at Perform, said.
“With El Clasico taking place on 3 December, they are joining at a great time.
“We are confident that the combination of Winamax’s strong brand and our industry-leading consumer product will signal the start of a long and successful partnership.”
Winamax’s head of betting, Tristan Guiglini, added: “We are proud to offer a premium betting experience to our players in broadcasting, with Watch&Bet top events like La Liga, WTA and ATP World Tour.”
Today’s announcement comes after Perform secured an extension to its partnership with Football DataCo last month, a deal which will see it remain the official supplier of live data to the betting sector until the 2018-19 season.
The three-year deal started from the 2016-17 football season and will extend its exclusive provision of live data feeds to bookmakers from the Premier League, English Football League and Scottish Professional Football Leagues.
