
“World first” 3D virtual reality casino awarded UK licence
Malta-based operator Alea offers players 40 slot games via an Oculus Rift-powered VR casino


Malta-based operator Alea has launched its virtual reality-powered online casino in the UK after being granted a licence by the UK Gambling Commission.
SlotsMillion has been dubbed the “world’s first 3D virtual reality online casino” in a statement released by the operator.
The VR site offers a portfolio of over 40 slots, including NetEnt’s Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest and Quickspin’s Big Bad Wolf.
The SlotsMillion casino is accessible via an Oculus Rift headset which enables players to virtually enter the casino on the top floor of a modern skyscraper that is lined with slot machines.

The site is also available in 3D to players who do not have access to a VR headset.
Alexandre Tomic, co-founder of SlotsMillion, said: “Launching in the UK is a huge milestone for SlotsMillion and one we are very proud to have achieved.
