Yggdrasil recruits NetEnt's Frida Gustafsson as CFO
Gustafsson appointed to newly-created role after more than six years at rival supplier

Yggdrasil Gaming has appointed former NetEnt finance manager Frida Gustafsson as CFO, a newly-created role following the firm’s expansion in recent months.
Gustafsson joins the Cherry-owned business after more than six years with NetEnt, most recently as the online casino provider’s finance manager for tax and new markets.
The former Deloitte Sweden auditor will be based at Yggdrasil’s Malta headquarters.
Gustafsson’s appointment comes after the slot supplier’s recent expansion demanded a more complex corporate structure to operate, according to the firm.
“As Yggdrasil grows, it is important we assemble a world-class team of executives and Frida is one of the sharpest financial minds in gaming,” said Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming.
“She will be a huge asset as we continue to expand as a company,” he added.
Yggdrasil has more than doubled its workforce in the past year, expanding to 65 staffers from 25 one year ago.
