Zeal launches charity lottery in partnership with UNICEF Norway
Online lottery operator kick-starts charity jackpot initiative through its Lottovate brand

Zeal Group has launched Norway’s first ever digital-only charity lottery in partnership with UNICEF.
Norwegians will have the chance to raise money for the charity by entering the UNICEF-lotteriet, with the chance of winning approximately €210k on the jackpot each week.
Zeal is responsible for the new lottery initiative through its Lottovate brand, with 30% of every ticket sold going directly to UNICEF Norway. Another 30% will account for operating costs and 40% goes towards prize funding.
Susan Standiford, ZEAL CTO and general manager at Lottovate said: “At a time where charities all over the world are having to diversify their income streams, UNICEF Norway are leading the way and Lottovate are standing right behind them.
“With charities increasingly facing ‘giving fatigue’, the UNICEF-lotteriet is an innovative way to generate more funds, at no cost.
“It’s very scalable and a great way for the charity to expand their supporter base and we’re thrilled to be partnering with UNICEF Norway.”
