Zimpler appoints Catena Media sales chief as CCO
Catena Media’s head of sales Rhi Burns joins the Malta-based payment provider as chief commercial officer
Catena Media’s head of sales Rhi Burns has left the affiliate firm to join Malta-based payments start-up Zimpler as chief commercial officer (CCO).
Burns has 12 years’ experience in egaming sales roles and spent the last four years at Catena Media, having also worked for Trustly and NetRefer.
She will be responsible for building Zimpler’s commercial team in Malta and promoting the Zimpler GO payment solution to prospective operators.

“Rhi has had a focus on sales, client relationships and leadership and is well equipped to take on this new challenge,” said Zimpler CEO Kristofer Ekman Sinclair.
“She’ll help spread the word about Zimpler GO and build a strong team of salespeople and account managers that will onboard and look after our clients in the best possible way.
“With Rhi on site in Malta, Zimpler will be in pole position to help our partners improve their business,” he added.
Swedish operator Global Gaming is planning to go live with the Zimpler payment product in Q1 2019.
Burns said: “I will utilise my network of friends, clients and colleagues in the industry to bring awareness to Zimpler and our Zimpler GO ‘instant account’ product.”
