888 names two new SVPs in organisational reshuffle
Yaniv Schwartz and Yaniv Sherman promoted to two newly-created roles

Under the reshuffle, Yaniv Schwartz – who has been head of 888’s B2B business Dragonfish for the past six years – is taking up a newly created role as senior vice president, head of customer risk management.

Yaniv Schwartz
Schwartz will be in charge of 888’s fraud and risk teams as well as supporting 888’s operations across existing and new regulated markets.
He will report directly into 888 CEO Itai Frieberger.
Elsewhere, Yaniv Sherman, who has been 888’s senior vice president of business development for the past six years, has been appointed as senior vice president, head of commercial development.

Yaniv Sherman
Sherman will also report directly into Itai Frieberger and will continue to lead 888’s business development and sales initiatives, as well as assuming responsibility for Dragonfish’s partner account management and day-to-day operations.
During their combined tenure, Yaniv Schwartz and Yaniv Sherman have led 888 and Dragonfish’s venture into the US with its partners CIE and AAPN, while also growing the Group’s presence in the UK bingo and casino market.
“Our consistent focus and commitment to driving growth in regulated markets and compliance has led us to examine the Group’s organisational and senior management structure,” Freiberger said.
“Yaniv Schwartz, who has been with 888 for 15 years in a number of positions, has unique experience and is a perfect selection for this newly created role focusing on the Group’s key operational processes.
“Consolidating our commercial functions, including the end-to-end responsibility for Dragonfish, was also a natural step in 888’s continued growth and development.
“Yaniv Sherman brings a wealth of experience in relationship management and commercial execution, as well as in-depth knowledge of the online gaming space and I am looking forward to his continued contribution in this newly created role.”
