Golden Nugget launches live dealer poker

Golden Nugget Atlantic City has launched a live dealer version of Casino Hold’em poker in what it claims is a first for the US market.

The new game is now available on GoldenNuggetCasino.com, joining the operator’s existing suite of live dealer options including blackjack, Baccarat and roulette.

“Being the first to offer a live dealer version of the world’s most popular poker game in America, Casino Hold’em, shows our commitment to delivering on an innovative and world class product to our patrons,” said Thomas Winter, senior vice president of online gaming at Golden Nugget.

“Our patrons have asked and we are happy to deliver on this request using our unique live dealer digital platform.”

Casino Hold ‘Em mimics the classic form of poker but pits the patron against the dealer instead of other players. A single live dealer table is able to service an unlimited number of players.

“America is in love with poker, and by using the live dealer platform, the game retains its strong connection between the player and the dealer in a live environment,” said Kfir Kugler, CEO at Ezugi New Jersey.

GoldenNuggetCasino.com will have the Casino Hold’em table operating from 3PM – 3AM EST, seven days a week.

The Golden Nugget – and licensees – is already the market leader in New Jersey, thanks in part to the launch of New Jersey’s first live dealer games in August last year.
