GAN to launch second NJ online casino in H1 2018
Provider to power new site for Ocean Resort Casino with sports betting optionality
GAN has announced plans to launch a real-money online casino in New Jersey on behalf of the Ocean Resort Casino, formerly known as TEN/Revel Casino.
GAN said the launch is expected in H1 2018, although it did not specify the name of the site. GAN already powers a social casino site for the operator.
The product will be integrated with the casino’s on-site rewards scheme, while the platform will have sports betting capabilities should PASPA be overturned, following GANS recent integration with SBTech.
Ocean Resort is GAN’s second real money partner in New Jersey after Betfair, a business which GAN said was “performing strongly in 2017” thanks in part to favourable market conditions.
The launch was confirmed Tuesday in a Q4 trading update from GAN in which the provider also projected positive clean EBITDA for FY 2017.
The provider also identified Native American US casino operator Chickasaw Nation as the client it is launching an international online casino for.
The site www.WinStar.com was launched for the Chickasaw Nation in H2 2017 and is now available in regulated European markets.
Looking ahead, GAN said its outlook for 2018 remains positive due to “continued growth in real money Regulated Gaming and Simulated Gaming”.
