Seth Young to depart Foxwoods
Executive director of online gaming set to leave his role at the end of November
Seth Young is set to depart his post as executive director of online gaming at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.
Young declined to comment on his next steps after leaving the role at the end of November, although EGR understands he will remain in the industry.
The exec said in a LinkedIn post it had been “an honor and pleasure” to work alongside some “incredible people” in the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
“I’m proud to say that the interactive business vertical has taken substantive steps forward, and that it will remain in good hands,” he added.
“Most of all, I have been proud to represent such a forward-thinking group of trailblazers that has meant so much to me both personally and professionally. It is bittersweet, but I am leaving with great memories, better friendships, and excitement for the days ahead!”

Young spent nearly two-and-a-half years at the Connecticut property after joining in August 2016.
During his time at the operator he oversaw the development of the Foxwoods Online social casino product and gave expert testimony on the potential benefits of online sports betting and gaming to the Connecticut legislature.
