DraftKings establishes Dublin tech hub
Operator is seeking to hire developers and engineers to work at its new office in St Stephen’s Green

DraftKings is to open a new tech hub in Dublin, Ireland to tap into the country’s engineering talent and work closer with its European supplier partners.
The operator’s CTO Travis Dunn said the Dublin HQ would allow the firm to respond quicker to issues and work in closer coordination with international vendors.
“Dublin is one of Europe’s top tech hubs and has deep roots in sports betting and gaming,” Dunn said.
The office will be led by engineering site lead Jack Murphy who joined the firm in October from B2B travel platform Travelport.
Murphy has been tasked with building out a team of 30 tech staffers at the St Stephen’s Green-based hub.
The firm is seeking to hire team leads and developers with expertise in .Net, C# and Java.
Murphy said via LinkedIn: “This is the start of a brand-new office offering excellent packages, great perks and the opportunity to be the first of a new DraftKings generation in Dublin.”
The company has operated DFS in Ireland since 2017 and has seen YoY growth of 213% in the jurisdiction.
