DraftKings extends Madison Square Garden deal to include betting branding
Operator to also partner with New York Knicks and Rangers as part of exclusive deal

DraftKings has extended its DFS branding deal with Madison Square Garden (MSG) to include an exclusive betting partnership.
The Boston-headquartered company will become the exclusive betting partner of the New York Knicks (NBA) and New York Rangers (NHL) teams.
Its branding will be featured throughout the venue, including the video board on the stadium’s façade and in-venue digital display screens.
DraftKings activation areas will also be set up at Knicks and Rangers fan events throughout the year.
In-game DFS promotions will be offered to fans during Westchester Knicks games at the Westchester County Center in upstate New York.
Chief business officer at DraftKings Ezra Kucharz said: “We are proud to be named the official sports betting partner and continue as the daily fantasy partner of the world’s most famous arena and for two of the most iconic franchises in all of sports that play there.
“The Madison Square Garden Company is known for providing fans with unforgettable moments, and this emphasis on immersive engagement perfectly complements DraftKings and our likeminded commitment to experiential excellence,” Kucharz said.
New York regulators are set to discuss the potential for in-stadium mobile betting at venues like MSG in the coming months.
