Scientific Games seals Tipico New Jersey igaming deal
Supplier to provide more than 2,000 casino titles as part of German giant’s New Jersey entry later this year

Scientific Games has sealed an agreement with German operator Tipico to power its New Jersey igaming offering as it makes its US market penetration.
The Las Vegas-headquartered supplier will deliver its OpenGaming product suite, which includes an aggregation platform and a games portfolio featuring more than 2,000 proprietary and third-party titles.
Earlier this month, EGR exclusively revealed Tipico would launch its first US-facing venture in New Jersey this year, as well as actively exploring further US states to enter.
The Scientific Games-powered online casino will be coupled with Tipico’s proprietary online sportsbook, with both set to go live in the autumn.
Dylan Slaney, Scientific Games Digital casino SVP, said the partnership validated his firm’s position as a market leader.
Slaney said: “Tipico’s decision to select OpenGaming to power its new digital casino once again demonstrates the quality of our proposition, and reaffirms our position as a leading supplier in the state of New Jersey.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the team at Tipico and look forward to providing them with all the support to ensure that together we launch a successful offering,” he added.
Adrian Vella, Tipico US business MD, added that he was “very excited to partner” with Scientific Games.
Vella said: “With a solid history in the highly regulated US market, a huge library of games and proven platform technology, Scientific Games provides us with a strong foundation to build from as we continue to expand our gaming offerings.”
Tipico has also signed on with omnichannel digital advertising services company Digilant as its main US media buyer.
Scientific Games also powers DraftKings’ igaming offering in New Jersey, with the operator estimated to have a 35% share of the market, according to Eilers and Krejcik Gaming
