Esports Entertainment Group hires Wall Street analyst as strategic planning VP
Former Stephens and Barclays forecaster Jeff Cohen joins Nasdaq-listed esports operator

Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has appointed Jeff Cohen as the firm’s VP for strategic planning and investor relations.
Cohen most recently served as a gaming and esports equity analyst for Wall Street investment bank Stephens after joining the firm in 2017.
Prior to joining Stephens, the Harvard alumnus served as an analyst with the Equity Special Situations Group at Barclays.
Grant Johnson, EEG CEO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jeff to our team. He’s been a leading analyst in the gaming and esports arena and his wealth of knowledge and relationships with major buyside players are great assets for us as we continue to execute on our growth strategy.”
Speaking on his arrival at EEG, Cohen said: “I am excited to join the Esports Entertainment team and look forward to providing value as we work to capitalize on multiple opportunities in the rapidly evolving global esports market.”
EEG is in the process of bolstering its senior leadership team following the acquisition of Argyll Entertainment earlier this month.
Argyll CEO Stuart Tilly has been appointed corporate secretary while chief financial officer Dan Marks was recruited in the same job role.
