FanDuel recruits Jordan Spieth as new brand ambassador
Three-time golf major winner will feature in TV commercials and collaborate with the US operator on social media and RG initiatives

FanDuel has signed three-time golf Major winner Jordan Spieth to a new exclusive sports betting and DFS partnership.
As part of the relationship, Spieth will be featured in national television commercials and will be the face of FanDuel’s golf products.
Spieth will work with FanDuel on content for social media and responsible gaming initiatives and will also support the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.
Discussing the recruitment of Spieth, FanDuel CMO Mike Raffensperger shared the firm’s need to engage with golf’s growing fan base.
“As one of the most universally admired golfers at the top of his game, Jordan Spieth is a perfect fit for our first official golf partner and the face of golf at FanDuel,” Raffensperger added.
FanDuel is currently the official sports betting partner of the PGA Tour.
The US market leader’s roster of sports betting partners and influencers includes Pat McAfee as well as Pat McAfee Inc., Turner Sports and the Bleacher Report.
Reflecting on his new role as brand ambassador, Spieth added: “As the world of legal sports betting grows rapidly in the US, I’m incredibly excited about what’s happening in the space and the potential it has to bring new fans to the sport of golf.
“As the PGA Tour and others in the golf world have strongly embraced legalized sports gaming, I look forward to working with FanDuel to find unique ways to engage the fast-growing fan base,” he added.
Spieth joins an ever-growing number of golfers engaging with sports betting operators, with PointsBet hiring four-time PGA Tour winner Notah Begay III and golf personality and Instagram influencer Paige Spiranac as brand ambassadors, while DraftKings signed up US big-hitter Bryson DeChambeau.
