Former Nevada regulator joins Caesars Entertainment
Ex-Nevada Gaming Control Board chairwoman Sandra Douglass Morgan set to join operator’s board of directors

Former Nevada Gaming Control Board chairwoman Sandra Douglass Morgan has been tapped to join Caesars Entertainment’s board of directors.
Morgan, an attorney and the NGCB’s first African American chair, will join the board on November 7, subject to regulatory approval.
She spent just under two years with the NGCB, having previously served as a commissioner with the Nevada Gaming Commission.
Morgan implemented sweeping changes during her tenure at the helm of the NGCB, including ensuring licensees adopted and implemented policies against discrimination and paving the way for cashless wagering at machines and table games.
Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg said: “Sandra is a proven leader, team builder, and passionate advocate for always doing the right thing.
“I’m pleased to add her independent voice to our strong board of directors. I look forward to working with her, the rest of our board, and the management team to continue to drive results for our guests, our team members, and our shareholders,” he added.
A veteran of the Las Vegas gambling industry, Morgan spent eight years working in the City of North Las Vegas City Attorney’s office, and previously spent three years working as a litigation attorney for MGM Resorts.
In this role, she served as primary litigator for MGM in respect of lawsuits brought against its Mirage Casino property and also spent three years working for AT&T as a director of external affairs.
Morgan serves as a board member of the following publicly traded companies: Fidelity National Financial, Allegiant Travel Company, and Cerberus Cyber Sentinel Corp.
With the addition of Morgan, Caesars Entertainment’s board of directors will grow to 10 members.
