FanDuel debuts Washington sportsbook via Suquamish Tribe partnership
Evergreen State marks 14th US state in which leading online gaming operator has retail property

FanDuel has officially debuted its newest retail property at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort in Washington. The opening of the sportsbook marks the culmination of a partnership between FanDuel Group and Port Madison Enterprises, the business arm of the Suquamish Tribe.
To mark the occasion, NFL legends Steve Largent and Jim Zorn were on hand to take part in a ribbon cutting while making ceremonial first bets on the upcoming Super Bowl between the Rams and Bengals.
“We are excited to have formed a partnership with FanDuel, America’s number one sportsbook, and be their exclusive partner in Washington State,” said Port Madison Enterprises CEO Rion Ramirez. “The joint effort between the Suquamish Tribal Gaming Commission, the Washington State Gambling Commission, FanDuel, and a number of our casino employees made this all possible and we are thrilled that our sportsbook is now open.”
The sportsbook, which is located adjacent to the casino floor, features three live betting windows and 12 IGT PlaySports self-service betting kiosks spread over 2,086 square feet of space. FanDuel will also have customer-service representatives on-site to help customers familiarize themselves with sports betting processes.
“This has been a special project for us because it has allowed us to expand our retail footprint to the west coast,” said FanDuel Group VP of retail Keith Wall. “The Suquamish Tribe has been an amazing partner throughout the process and Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort is an amazing property that everyone needs to visit for the stunning views, world class entertainment, and now legal sports betting.”
FanDuel will provide its proprietary risk and trading technology that leverages the IGT PlaySports platform to offer bets on all major US sports in addition to NCAA sporting events. Betting on college teams located in Washington State, however, is not permitted.
The opening of the sportsbook makes Washington the 14th state in which FanDuel boasts a brick-and-mortar presence, with its retail property in Arizona the only other located in the Western half of the US.
