American Gaming Association looks within to strengthen executive team
Trade body promotes four senior-level team members to VP and directorial roles as well as beefing up government relations and communications team

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has promoted four of its senior-level team members to VP and directorial level roles as it looks to bolster its existing operational areas.
AGA senior director of government affairs Alex Costello has been promoted to VP of government relations and will direct the AGA’s federal advocacy efforts.
Costello leads the trade body’s work on advancing best practices and anti-money laundering efforts as well as working with representatives from Capitol Hill.
David Foreman, current AGA senior director of research, has been advanced to the role of VP of research, having previously compiled the AGA’s commercial gaming revenue tracker and industry outlook offering.
Rounding out the senior hires are Gabrielle Voorhees, who has been promoted to VP of finance and operations for the AGA, and Brandon Leggiero who advances to the role of senior director of the AGA’s member and partner relations team.
AGA president and CEO Bill Miller welcomed the promotion of the quartet to more senior roles within the trade body.
“I’m immensely proud of the team we have built at the AGA. Today’s announcement reflects their hard work and significant achievements on behalf of our members and the gaming industry,” Miller said.
“These talented professionals, and the rest of our strong AGA team, will help us continue to lead the industry through this new era of growth,” he added.
In addition to the promotion of its existing team members, the AGA has also added three director level hires in its government, media relations and resources departments.
National Conference of State Legislatures alumnus Tres York has been tapped to become senior director of the AGA’s government relations department and will lead state advocacy and regulatory engagement for the body.
Christopher Browne will become the AGA’s new director of media relations and Annabelle Goese will be joining the AGA as a senior manager of member services.
“The addition of high-caliber talent like Tres, Christopher and Annabelle enhance our ability to advance gaming’s interests and deliver member value,” added Miller.
