Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to launch online sportsbook in Ontario through Kambi partnership
Connecticut-based operator to use global B2B provider’s sports betting technology for PlayFallsview online brand

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) has reached a partnership with Kambi Group plc that will enable the Connecticut-based operator to launch an online sportsbook in the nascent Ontario market through its Fallsview Casino brand.
As part of the deal, the online PlayFallsview brand will leverage Kambi’s technology platform and full suite of mobile sportsbook offerings, including its expansive Bet Builder product that has proven popular in the US market.
“I look forward to the combination of our industry-leading mobile sportsbook and the prominent Fallsview name as together we bring players in Ontario all the excitement of single and in-game wagering along with the unrivaled bet combinability our sportsbook offers,” said Kambi CEO and co-founder Kristian Nylén.
The largest casino resort in Canada, Fallsview and MGE created PlayFallsview to take advantage of the burgeoning online sports betting opportunity in Ontario. The brand represents MGE’s first mobile gaming product outside of the US.
“It’s an exciting time for the mobile gaming industry as sports betting continues to grow, and we’re thrilled to be entering into another partnership with Kambi Group plc with the launch of PlayFallsview online mobile sportsbook,” said Mohegan Digital president Rich Roberts.
The union is notable as it brings MGE and Kambi back together after the two parties rolled back an existing partnership in Connecticut in mid-2021.
The adjusted agreement, which followed the launch of Mohegan Digital, allowed MGE to collaborate with “alternative parties” to launch on-property and online sports betting in Connecticut.
That paved the way for MGE to partner with FanDuel Group to roll out an integrated igaming and online sports betting product in Connecticut once online gaming was approved to launch in the state last October.
Kambi, which is currently live in 17 US states through similar B2B partnerships with the likes of Rush Street Interactive and Barstool Sportsbook, will now team back up with MGE north of the border.
