The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA) operates the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, the Mohegan Sun Pocono in Pennsylvania, and also manages the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
âMTGA is excited to enter into our soft-launch testing period in advance of introducing what we believe will raise the bar in online gaming â MoheganSunCasino.com,â Bobby Soper, president of MTGA, said.
âOur goal is for MoheganSunCasino.com to become the premier online destination for both serious gamers and those who simply want to relax and have fun.
âWe look forward to the site going live and bringing players in New Jersey the very latest that online gaming has to offer,â he added.
Morris Bailey, owner of Resorts Casino Hotel, said the launch of MoheganSunCasino.com showed its âcommitment to partnering with the worldâs most trusted and respected brandsâ to deliver a top-rate gaming experience.
âWe are excited to continue our venture into the egaming world and launch MoheganSunCasino.com as one of our five online casino licenses, offering the luxurious experience the world has come to know from Mohegan Sun,â Bailey added.
Resorts Casino also partnered with PokerStars and Full Tilt, with the worldâs largest poker operator expected to be awarded its New Jersey license in the coming months.
ResortsCasino.com has got off to a solid start in New Jersey, attracting gross gaming revenues of $400,000 in June despite launching in February this year.
