NetEnt given green light to launch in New Jersey

NetEnt Americas managing director Björn Krantz said being awarded a transactional waiver was a âmilestoneâ for the supplier as it looks to build a long-term presence in the North American market.
âWe are working in close collaboration with our partners and the New Jersey DGE to secure that necessary administration is taken to successfully go live as soon as possible,â Krantz added.
NetEnt announced it had struck a deal with bwin.party and the Borgata back in June, which was followed by an agreement with Caesars Interactive and Golden Nugget.
The Stockholm-listed supplier has applied for a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License, but the transactional waiver means it can launch its products while its application is under review.
The supplier said a transactional waiver was required for each agreement while its license was under review, and was âawaitingâ waivers for its deals with Caesars Interactive and Golden Nugget.
NetEnt has long had one eye on the US and last year restructured its ambitions in the market though the set-up of subsidiary company NetEnt Americas.
