IGT bolsters DoubleDown with first GTECH game
GTECH title Treasures of the Pyramids now available on desktop and mobile
IGT has bolstered its DoubleDown Casino offering with its first legacy title from GTECH with plans to roll out additional games in the coming months. [private]
Players on DoubleDown Casino will now be able to access Treasures of the Pyramids on desktop and mobile, with the game originally designed for land-based slots machines.
DoubleDown general manager Joe Sigrist said the launch was a âsignificant milestoneâ for IGT after its merger with GTECH earlier in the year.
âTreasures of the Pyramids is a well-known, top-performing title in land-based casinos.
âLeveraging its popularity provides our social players with more engaging content as we continue IGT’s momentum as the leader in cross-platform content creation and distribution,â Sigrist added.
The launch comes after DoubleDown posted a 6% YoY increase in revenues in the third quarter to $79.7m, with more than 50% of revenues coming through mobile for the first time.
