Operator strikes a deal to use GANâs simulated gaming platformÂ
The Borgata has become the latest New Jersey operator to launch a social casino offering after striking a deal with GAN to use the supplierâs simulated gaming platform.
The UK-based platform and content supplierâs freeplay platform has been designed to allow land-based operators in regulated and unregulated states to get a foothold in the US egaming market.
The product combines the companyâs real-money internet gaming technology platform, casino gaming content, and the land-based casino operatorâs brand and rewards system.
âThe power of the Borgata brand has allowed us to establish ourselves as the leading online gaming operator in New Jersey,â Tom Balance, Borgata CEO, said.
âWe are equally optimistic that Borgata will enjoy similar success with our social gaming product,â he added.
GAN has also struck a deal with Missouri-based casino group Isle of Capri and its online division Lady Luck Interactive.
Isle of Capri has casinos in several states including Pennsylvania, Louisiana and Mississippi, with its social product launching under the Lady Luck brand.
Both sites are expected to go live in the first half of 2016.
The news comes as more casino and RMG operators look to cash in on the social gaming opportunity, with the likes of Tropicana and San Manuel launching products in recent months.
