BCLC bolsters mobile offering with SciGames content

Classic titles such as Raging Rhino and Cash Wizard now available to PlayNow.com mobile players 

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has bolstered its real-money mobile gaming offering with a raft of titles from Scientific Games. [private]

Players accessing the lottery’s PlayNow.com site via their mobile devices will now be able to access games such as Cash Wizard, Montezuma, Raging Rhino, Lady Robin Hood, and Zeus.

Scientific Games VP of global commercial, interactive, Bob Hayes, said the launch was a “significant step” in its relationship with the provincial operator.

“It’s important to be omni- channel in a world where mobile devices now outnumber humans and the expectation for a seamless gaming experience continues to grow.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to work with BCLC to deliver more content for both desktop and mobile moving forward, ensuring players can engage whenever and wherever they are,” he added.

Last year the BCLC moved to drive more sportsbook players online after expanding its deal with OpenBet, a move which paid off with FY 2015 revenues reaching CAD$110m.
