
New Jersey continues run of record egaming revenues
State posts fourth consecutive month of record egaming revenues as GGR hits $14.7m in FebruaryÂ
New Jersey posted its fourth consecutive month of record egaming revenues in February, up 41% year on year to $14.7m, according to the latest figures released by the stateâs Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). [private]
The latest figures show gross gaming revenue (GGR) was driven by a 52% surge in online casino revenue, which increased from $8.4m in February 2014 to $12.8m this year.
Poker revenues remained relatively flat during the month, down just 2.5% to $1.9m.
The Borgata, which will replace platform partner bwin.party with GAN and Pala Interactive by the end of H1, continued to lead the charge with revenues of $4.2m, up 14% YoY.
Casino revenues were up almost a quarter (+23%) to $3.2m, while poker contributed $1m, down 10% on the previous year.
Golden Nugget jumped ahead of both Caesars Interactive and Tropicana to claim second spot with GGR of $3.1m, representing a 106% increase on February 2014.
Tropicana came in third, with GGR of $3.05m (up 17% YoY) just ahead of Caesars Interactive on $3.02m â a 20% increase on 2014 despite slipping down the leaderboard.
Caesars, whose brands CaesarsCasino.com, HarrahsCasino.com and WSOP.com, saw casino contribute $2.1m and poker $0.9m during the period.
February marked the first full year of contributions from Resorts Casino, which recorded revenues of $1.3m for the month.
However with partner PokerStars set to enter the market by the end of March, Resorts will receive a huge boost to its GGR total in the coming months.
