Penn said that Open Wager had tailored the game graphics to incorporate elements from its land-based Hollywood Casino brand, as it looks to attract new and existing players to its online offering.
Players collect free bonuses on the âHollywood movie backlotsâ, can invite their friends to play via Facebook, and compete in tournaments.
There is also a virtual host, Holly, to guide players through quests, earn stars, and unlock new games. The game is available to download on iOS and Android.
Penn said the launch of Hollywood Slots âfurther expandsâ its presence in the social casino market after flicking the switch on its Scientific Games-powered site in May last year.
The casino operatorâs MD of interactive, Chris Sheffield, said the launch was an âimportant componentâ of its egaming strategy.
âHollywood Slots has already garnered early positive reviews and with today’s public launch, users can enjoy the platform’s exciting games and become engaged through the product’s unique graphics and game features,â he added.
Open Wager CEO John Cahill said his firm was âcommitted to raising the barâ in the sector and was excited to have partnered with Penn.
