Slots Tracker: Igaming battle royale continues as Evolution and SG Digital continue rankings war
October’s expanded US slot rankings marks SG Digital’s return to the top of the table as the supplier’s gains in Michigan and Pennsylvania igaming markets lead to reversal

The two-way tussle for slots supremacy between Evolution’s Divine Fortune and SG Digital’s 88 Fortunes continued during October, with the latter reclaiming the top spot.
In our first expanded slots tracker, which now includes data from the New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania markets, 88 Fortunes reversed its single-state loss in the run up to Halloween.
Rounding out our top three was IGT’s Cleopatra, which kept its place despite the inclusion of data from more igaming markets during October.
Moving up one place to fourth was IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin, which beat off competition from October new entrant Dancing Drums Explosion by SG Digital in fifth.
The other big mover was Win Studios’ Mirage Mega Magma, which rocketed 12 places from 20th in September to eighth in October, a rise which could be due to the Michigan and Pennsylvania market additions.
The month’s big fallers were SG Digital’s Coin Combo Marvelous Mouse, which slumped five places to ninth, Evolution’s Starburst, which dropped four places to 12th.
Elsewhere, Evolution’s Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen slot fell from ninth to 15th.
October’s other new entrants were Dazzle Me Megaways from Evolution, which finished 13th, IGT’s Double Diamond, which hit 14th and Slingo Originals’ Red Hot Slingo, which rounded out the list in 20th.
A total of 32 sites were scrutinized as part of the October tri-state sample, including 155 web pages and 1,119 games.
Games are ranked by their position throughout the month on all online casino sites in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Only the “main” page of the casinos is taken into account and the top 20 most prominent positions on those pages.
The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 20 positions throughout the month. Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours. Table games such as roulette and blackjack are excluded from the rankings, as are live casino games.
