AGA launches four principles of responsible gambling campaign
Ads are being displayed at sports stadiums in betting states with leagues and sports teams supporting the launch

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has launched a responsible gambling marketing campaign across sports stadiums in legal betting states.
The ‘Have a Game Plan, Bet Responsibly’ campaign is working with sports leagues, teams and new entrants to the betting sector to emphasize good RG practices among bettors.
Ads are being displayed at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with plans to launch in additional states imminently.
The four key principles being emphasized are setting a budget for betting, keeping gambling as a social activity, staying informed on the T&Cs and playing with trusted, licensed operators.
Bill Miller, president and CEO of the AGA, said: “Roughly 100 million Americans will be able to legally wager on sports in their state by the end of this year.
“It’s more important than ever that the gaming industry, and our new partners in the sports betting ecosystem, are proactive in equipping patrons with the tools they need to engage in these offerings in a responsible manner,” Miller said.
NHL team Vegas Golden Knights president Kerry Bubolz said: “The Golden Knights are pleased to work with the American Gaming Association to extend our state’s longstanding commitment to responsibility by encouraging all of our fans to Have a Game Plan.
“Gaming should always be enjoyed responsibly. We look forward to working with the AGA on educating our fans and reinforcing this messaging during our home games at The Fortress,” Bubolz said.
The campaign coincides with Problem Gambling Awareness Month in the US.
