Akamon strikes video bingo distribution deal
Barcelona headquartered social casino developer strikes partnership with land-based video bingo developer Zest Gaming
Barcelona-based social games studio Akamon Entertainment has signed a two-year distribution deal with land-based video bingo supplier Zest Gaming. [private]
Under the partnership, Akamon will launch titles from Zestâs video bingo portfolio across its various game platforms, with Flying Pigs the first to go live on its Viva Bingo & Slots offering.
Akamon CEO Vicenç Martà (pictured) said the deal showed his firmâs commitment to video bingo, and estimated the vertical would generate around â¬1m in incremental revenues this year.
Zest Gaming said the agreement reflected one of its main strategic goals to bring its video bingo offering to the social casino market where it has âan enormous potential growthâ.
âOur content leads the video bingo scene in land based and now we aim to achieve the lead in the social channel,â Pablo Carulla, Zest Gaming CEO, said.
âWe are very pleased to join efforts with Akamon; both companies think alike and working together has been very easy for our talented team. We expect a high success,â he added.
