Based out of Amayaâs Miami offices, Frank will be focused primarily on regulatory compliance in the Americas and will report directly to Eric Newcomer, VP of legal affairs.
âAmaya is a market leader that enjoys strong, positive relationships with regulators around the world,â Eric Hollreiser, Amaya spokesman, said.
âEric bring strong gaming industry experience and regulatory expertise and joins our growing legal team in the Miami area led by [General Counsel] Marlon Goldstein,â he added.
Prior to joining Amaya, Frank spent six and a half years at New Jersey-based law firm Duane Morris, where he specialized in land-based and internet gaming.
Frankâs practice expands beyond commercial casino gaming having represented Indian Gaming operators, racetracks, and lotteries.
He joins Amaya as the gaming giant hones in on launching PokerStars and Full Tilt in New Jersey after being granted a license at the back end of last year.
The firm is also active in lobbying in the yet-to-regulate states, particularly in California where it has joined forces with the Morongo and San Manuel tribes.
