BetMGM rolls out horseracing mobile app in Ohio
Buckeye State customers will gain access to Triple Crown wagering via the launch
BetMGM has officially launched a horseracing mobile app in Ohio, making a variety of thoroughbred, harness and quarter horse races available for wagering in the Buckeye State.
The launch of the BetMGM Horse Racing app, which marks the first horseracing product the growing online betting operator has rolled out, is in concert with NYRA Bets, the official online wagering platform of the New York Racing Association, Inc.
“We’re proud to introduce BetMGM Horse Racing, our new mobile offering to the state of Ohio,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt.
“In partnership with NYRA Bets, we’ve created an innovative digital experience for horseracing fans and anticipate the platform’s future launch in additional states.”
The app allows bettors to wager on tentpole races like the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, the Belmont Stakes and the Breeders’ Cup, as well as international events such as the Royal Asco and the Melbourne Cup.
All told, races from more than 200 tracks around the world will be available for betting.
Other features of the app include daily horseracing content and other digital content, such as live streaming video and race replays.
BetMGM is currently live with its mobile sports betting app in 15 jurisdictions, and has plans to roll out its horseracing app in additional states as they come online.
